QUICK CHANGE SANDING DISCS at AA ABRASIVES

AA Abrasives, Inc. carries a full line of Quick Change Mini Sanding Discs. Quick Change Sanding Discs are available in aluminum oxide, premium zirconia alumina and ceramic plus. These quick-change mini sanding discs available in a 1” to 4” range are perfect for grinding contoured and irregular surfaces, and are excellent on a wide range of general purpose applications.  Quick Change Mini Sanding Discs offer tool-free, twist-on fastening systems making fast work of disc changes. This will allow you to maximize productivity by minimizing downtime.

Recommended use:
  • General purpose grinding and aggressive stock removal;
  • Weld Removal in grits 36 through 60;
  • Blending of pits, gouges, and surface imperfections use grits 80-150;
  • Deburring, Edge breaking, surface leveling.

Recommended use:
  • Grinds high nickel alloys, titanium and other exotic metals;
  • Remove weld and grind through inclusions such as nodular cast iron;
  • Great on composites that wear other abrasives grains.

AA Abrasives Inc., Quick Change Mini Sanding Discs are available in T-R Quick Change Attachment System which is also known as a Male thread. This refers to the plastic nub on the back of the sanding disc. It is equivalent to 3M Roloc TR, Norton TR/Merit Type III discs and Standard Abrasives LokIt discs.
AA Abrasives also offers T-S Quick Change Attachment System discs sometimes referred to as Female Thread. This refers to the metal “open button” on the back of the sanding disc and is comparable to Norton TS/Merit Type II discs and 3M Roloc TSM and Standard Abrasives TS SocAtt discs.

We also carry the backing pads needed for the quick change sanding discs. They are compatible with the 3M Roloc and similar button attachment systems.
